WOW.. Ive had this idea in my head for awhile now, and I just had to muster up the energy to create it!! I seriously cant even tell you how long this took me,, a very long time,,.. The amount of applique that went onto this skirt is just crazy..but so worth it,, so all you deadhead mamas out there ,, here ya go

Ok the Base of the skirt is almost a super ultra light, army green type color,, almost a clay color. The accent Color used in the applique and on the pocket are , mustard, natural, and a charcoal color..

so for the applique,.. I did a branch with flowers, and a bird singing a song wtih music notes and hearts, on the bottom is a sun with a GD bolt, and then the words "WAKE NOW DISCOVER " on the front,, and YOU ARE THE SONG THAT THE MORNIN' BRINGS on the back.. Phewwwww...

There is a rounded pocket on the side, gathered and has a decorative tie. The skirt ties in the back, and is cut A LINE for less bunch at the top and all that spin at the bottom

I love this song, and this lyric in paticular,, I hope you enjoy this skirt as much as I enjoyed creating it!!
