~*All The Freaky People*~ Dress

I am sooooooooo Excited to be able to share this dress with you!!!! Its been awhile since Ive made a dress,, they are very time consuming, and It seems I always take it to the next level,,  I love to do applique,, and what usually starts out as a simple dress turns into  a Huge project!

This dress was done using HEMPCEL (55% hemp/45% tencel),, this fabric drapes BEAUTIFULLY, in  Wedgewood Blue, Chocolate Brown, Charcoal , Chartreuse Green, and And Natural (Hemp Muslin was used for the natural).

The applique is obviously the focal point (teee heee,) Inspired by the song *Stay Human* by Michael Franti and Spearhead,,, ~* All The Freaky People Make The Beauty Of The World*~  along with  a couple of Butterflies, a flower and 2 Mushrooms & grass!! There are 2 POCKETS with Butterflies, The fabric that the butterflies are on was stitched with a decorative stitch and the edges of the circles were left to fray!!! each Pocket closes with a flap w/ velcro. There is also a Butterfly on the Bodice!!!

There is soooo much detail in this dress!!! HOURS went into cutting out the applique alone,, There are 41 letters, 5 Butterflies, and 2 Mushrooms and a flower.. WoWeeeee!!!!! If you have seen my appliques in person,, you know they are Very Professional and exceptionally neat,,,, and if thats not enough,, every single patch & panel was TOPSTITCHED in Matching Thread!!! This looks soooo nice!!

Lots of time went into this,, and I know its going to go to a special mama,,,, If your looking for a dress to dance the night away in at festies this summer,, this will for sure turn some heads!!!
