What is a Green/Eco*Friendly  Business?

A green business specializes in Hemp, Organic cotton, Sustainable fabrics along with  recycled fabrics . a

95% of my creations are Hemp/organic Cotton and are dyed with Low Impact dyes,,( All hemp is dyed By Ang and Ian of Alteredstatement .) although I still love to incorporate cotton prints from time to time:)

 I have been selling Hand dyed Hemp clothing since 2004!!,, and love that I have evolved into an ECO FRIENDLY business..
And while its seems Hemp and Eco Fashion is all  the rage now, The Decision to use Hemp Was such and easy one, not only for sales, ,, I was finally able to incorporate what I believe to be a very important issue into my business..

My Husband and I take EVERY step necessary to do our part,, by
~Reducing*~ Reusing ~*~ Recycling!!!! We did not become "green" overnight,, we have been following the Green path for a long time .Robb and I have been Recycling and composting for over 10 years *~*~*~

We Kiss the Earth n Hug The Sky on a daily basis just by doing the following
 

~*recycling ALL of our garbage,, with the exception of what is not recyclable,, booooo:(
 

~*using cloth diapers on our little Miss Norah Jane
 

~ *Using  CLOTH NAPKINS~ at every meal,,,which I have for sale by the way,, there are beautiful applique HEMP NAPKINS on my site!!
The average American uses 6 paper napkins a day!!!! Thats 24 napkins a day for a family of 4!! Thats 168 napkins a week!Thats 8736 napkins a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  FOR ONE FAMILY!! Something as simple as using cloth napkins,, even occasionally, can help reduce the amount of garbage that goes into our landfill.

~*  eliminating paper towels and other items that are just tossed in the garbage,, a reusable( HEMP) cloth will do the job just as well when it comes to cleaning!!!

~* Composting  all our leftover veggies, fruits n such *~ Back to the Earth*~

~*  We us all natural cleaning products in our home,, and nothing fancy schmancy,, Vinegar, Baking Soda, and Lemon Juice will cover all of your cleaning needs,, who wants any of those nasty chemicals in the house,, with a Baby crawling around!!!

~* I will soon have HEMP TOTE bags for sale,, So you can stop bringing home all those plastic bags every time you shop!!!!!! We use These totes for ALL of our grocery shopping

 We are inspired on a daily Basis by The Natural world around us.. and are eager to do our part..
